An intimate evening of songs and stories featuring: The Accidentals’ Sav Buist and Katie Larson with Kim Richey, Beth Nielsen Chapman, and Maia Sharp.
Time Out, Session #2 (February 2022) is the second EP in a series by The Accidentals—a female-fronted, multi-instrumentalist, indie folk power trio—with songs co-written during the pandemic with legendary songwriters that inspired them to play and write music. Songwriting collaborators include Kim Richey, Dar Williams, Maia Sharp, Tom Paxton, Beth Nielsen Chapman, and Mary Gauthier & Jaimee Harris. The songs are an anthology of stories that honor what has been and what is to come, and in doing so, powerfully sits in this moment. Rolling Stone called Time Out, Session #1 “a mission statement for uniting a busted America.” Sav Buist says, “The ‘in the round’ format of these shows lets us listen and be inspired by other artists and their stories and creates a space that is inclusive and inspirational.”
